The Africa Tech Summit Kigali is to take place on 14th – 15th February 2018 at the Kigali Marriott Hotel to connect Africa’s tech leaders and international tech players.
The major aim of the event is to share expertise and business execution.
More than 50 speakers from mobile operators, tech companies, banks, entrepreneurs, digital ventures, regulators, governments, investors, media and pan-African start-ups will be present at the event to discuss about a variety of themes through keynotes, breakout sessions, multiple networking and ecosystem events.
The main themes for the two-day event include Connectivity; African Mobility, Cloud and IoT; Investing in African Tech; Mobile and Data; Tech & Talent; Future Trends; mCommerce; Payments, Banking and Fintech; mHealth; Edtech; AI and Robotics; Virtual Reality (VR); Digital Media and Creative Tech.
Rwandan Minister of Youth and ICT, Hon Jean Philbert Nsengimana, said, “”We are delighted to welcome the pan-African tech ecosystem for Africa Tech Summit Kigali 2018,” as the Ministry looks forward to the knowledge to be gained from the event.
The founder of the Summit, Andrew Fassnidge, indicated that one of the drivers of the event is to assess investment opportunities along with partnership opportunities across the continent upon

The Africa Tech Summit Is a Pan-African platform launched in London in 2016 with an aim to bring tech players from across the African ecosystem inorder to drive business and investment between Africa and Europe.
